Hello all!
A little update for you guys:
For those of you that haven’t heard, we officially have a
house in Ghana! Our good friends and founders of Eight Oaks (Teddy and Ellie) are currently in
Ghana preparing the way for us-they were able to find two homes which are both
in need of some renovation. One of the homes belongs to friends of theirs, and will be
more temporary while the other home is renovated (we will eventually use this
home for teams that come to help out). We don’t have pictures of either house
yet, but we’ll post them as soon as we get them! :) This is a huge blessing-pray that renovation will go quickly so that we can
make the home ready for the girls!!
Teddy and Ellie have had very positive things to say about
the town of Akatsi (where both homes are located) they feel very welcomed by
the local people-which is wonderful-we hope to build some meaningful relationships during our time there!
As for Landon and I, we are packed (amazingly), ready to go, and spending our
remaining two weeks at the beautiful New Jersey beach!! We are loving the chance to have some quality family time and relaxation! We are so grateful to have this time before
things get a little more hectic.
